As part of settling into a new area, you find new doctors, someone new to cut your hair, a new place for a mani-pedi, a massage. You keep up with the usual maintenance things, like mammograms.
Today I got the results of my mammogram: the letter you don't like to get–the one that says we saw something, please come back.
I've been through this before; it's always been nothing, but still I worry a little. Keep your fingers crossed or say a little prayer for me, OK?
Oh Sophie..I hope it is nothing once again...
ReplyDelete(I know I would worry too..)
I'm thinking of you! best wishes....
ReplyDeleteAll you need is one more thing, huh? We'll be thinking about you...
ReplyDeleteI made the calls to get the necessary orders in place for my follow-up appointment next week. The person setting up appointments at the Women's Imaging Center really should think about the woman on the other end of the phone before exclaiming, "Oh dear, they want to look at both sides." Sigh . . .
ReplyDeletejust keep in mind that they're being conscientious about what they're doing -- better than being "asleep at the wheel" when it comes to your health! best wishes for a good follow-up result.
ReplyDeleteI got that letter once and it turned out to be nothing. Whew! So here's wishing you another negative test result.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed and prayers going up.
ReplyDeleteprayers for you
ReplyDeleteI hope it's ok. I get a call back about every other mammogram. It's always been nothing. Hope yours is too.
ReplyDeleteJust caught this.. I will hope for it being nothing. Personally, "they want to see both sides" sounds like nothing -- bad film or a bad tech, maybe. All the best!
