A recent study released by Public Citizen, a consumer advocacy organization, and several environmental organizations has concluded that solar technology alone could supply electricity for the whole state of Texas.

I believe it - I lived in Dallas for five years and well remember the hot sun, lol. I had no a/c in my house OR my car!
When I was working on my masters, I took a class on solar energy. The professor recently got start-up funds for a company to produce solar cells. I am so excited because if he is ready to start the company, it must be cost effective, which can make it spread faster. Dave and I are talking about putting solar panels on our house.
