Will I become another Victim of Santa Fe Style?

This guy caught my eye and completely charmed me as I passed a gallery with him and a few of his friends in the window a couple days ago. But I wondered if bringing him home to the casita was the first step on the path to becoming another victim of Santa Fe style. Today at lunch, I went for a closer look anyway. He's about 18 inches tall, carved from cottonwood by Matthew Yellowman.

Oh he's so darn cute how can you resist going Santa Fe style? I know I would!

Victim? No. Master? Why not? I think you're more likely to add it to your palette and make your own style, with Santa Fe as part of the mix. Which would be cool.

The rooster-in-boots (like puss-in-boots but feathery) is also cool. :)

I have to say, I'm not normally into chickens or southwestern stuff much, but I dig that rooster :)

Well, if you need one colorful thing in your casita.
The cats might enjoy him.

There's worse things than Santa Fe-style! LOL! Only in MHO, of course. I don't think you could actually call "my" style Santa Fe totally, but it is one of the elements of my style.
