I make mine by adding a heaping tablespoon of pumpkin
I also woke up looking for my slippers, feeling like oatmeal for breakfast ... and wondering if it was time to turn up the thermostat and find out how well this new-to-me house is heated. (The previous tenant intimated, it wasn't so good.)
Last night, I craved soup for dinner. I tried this recipe for Curried Carrot Soup. It was very easy and pretty tasty.

I am thinking about pulling out one of my flannel quilts for the bed.
I'm also planning to pull out some yarn from my stash to knit some socks–it is Sock-tober, after all.

ohhhh...I like Socktobor!
Right now I am in the middle of a sock Armageddon (took me awhile to spell that close enough for the spell check to figure out).
The central figure in the great sock battle is a 8 month old puppy (sometimes know as Demon Spawn). I am sure you get the picture.
Oh - it is getting to be fall. We are thinking of turning off our ceiling fan at night. (We aren't quite as cool as you yet) I've made a couple pumpkin latte drinks that were not that good. Maybe yours will be the one!
HI Sophie, I love fall! I try to soak it all up too. I am making pumpkin this and pumpkin that...I even found some pumpkin spiced latte (flavored milk) here in Germany...I bought the store out! ;-) Enjoy the season and don't be afraid to turn up the heat. Hugs, Karen
