Life Goes On ...

In the past couple weeks, I've thought to blog about Halloween (and the Day of the Dead), the end of daylight savings time, voting, late fall on the Plaza and the passing of a birthday milestone in my life and whether or not 60 really is the new 40, but none of that has happened  ... yet.  In the meantime, here is my design wall, showing my efforts to catchup with the Mod-Mod Quilt-Along.

Updated Design Wall

I have sewn together the 21-inch modules that are complete ... only three left to go.

welcome to 60. I have been here for 11 months now, and all I got was a camera and a new knee......

I was just reflecting about the frequency (or infrequency) of blogging. I admire Judy L. and Bonnie H. for their daily posts, but I just can't manage that.

Happy birthday, you young'un....and as I said before, I really like your Mad Mod design.

With you Sophie - I would definitely say that '60 is the new 40' never would have guessed your age!
Happy Birthday!

Love way your mod-mod quilt is coming along - so modern!!

Happy belated birthday. I'm older than you by a few years but who's counting? I actually never remember how old I am anyway. One year I thought I was a whole year older than what I was believe it or not.

Love how this mod mod is going to look. Can't wait to see everyone's variations.

Love this quilt, so far. Happy Birthday! Missed you at Chicken River tonight. Next meeting will be a Day of the Dead/Lady of Guadalupe workshop in January. I will let you know the date then we figure that out.

Your quilt is so beautiful! I love it. I have lost my patience and cancelled my project. Another UFO is born. Seeing yours inspires me - almost. smile

Your quilt looks wonderful - I had a hard time visualizing it from the drawing in the beginning.
