Saturday, March 15, is National Quilting Day.
This is NQA's logo, click it to go to their site for more information about the day and their quilt day activities.
If you are a quilter, will you celebrate? How will you spend the day? A local quilt show is in my plans for this weekend as well as time spent quilting with Pat Sloan and her friends for a SeW AloNG Quilt Day Retreat Weekend. (Check out the button in my sidebar.)

Well here in Phoenix they are having the AQS quilt show. I have no one to go with :( so I prob'ly won't attend. I am going to most likely participate in Pat Sloan's quilt weekend. Making charity quilts. Glad I found your site!
Here in Ft Lauderdale is the bi-annual Quilt Show by the Sea. It's a 3 day event but I can only go on Saturday.
There is nothing quilty going on in my tiny town. I will spend the day on the golf course, in the wind and rain.
I'll be doing the SeW AloNG with you! Let's get together, say, about 8:00 Sunday night and have a glass of wine and see what we actually accomplished?
The Dallas Quilt Show is on, I may go check it out. I'm working 8-noon on Saturday though so maybe not worth the trip. I'll have to see what time it closes. It would take me 45 minutes to get there, then parking, walking in.....
Let's have some fun :) Diane
Hi Sophie, I jsut wanted to stop in and say "HI!". I was thinking about Houston today and remembered meeting you and Amy and realized that I had not seen your blog in a while. It dropped out of my reader! Now it's back. I'm glad I remembered and was able to catch up on all the things you've been doing. I'm sorry you have been having health problems. I hope things are getting better.
See you at the quilt show......Japanese ladies will be there from the block exchange I was in. 2 are staying at my home!!
