The flowers, buds and leaves on Good Night are different, which adds a little interest as I learn the new shapes and figure out how to neatly stitch them.
I took a break from the redwork to stuff and stitch and add a bit of embroidery to the string hearts ... now I am pushing myself a little to keep picking this up and working on it in the evenings until it's done.
I have quite a ways to go. Slow Stitch Sundays are always a good day for me to make progress.
I don't know how long I thought it would take to stitch these ... but I didn't think I'd still be working on them almost a month later.

Keep stitching and it won't be long and it will be completed. I felt I would never get the embroider done on my Over the River quilt, but it did!
How ever much time it takes - looks like it is worth it. You're doing a great job.
Hugs
beautiful pattern
Hello Sophie! How are you?
It has been a while!
I agree that the stitchery is just beautiful and totally worth the effort!!
Your hand stitching inspired me do put some stitches in my hearts challenge for 15 mins of play!
My mom taught me to embroider when I was quite young and I have always loved it! I come back to it periodically but forget about it sometimes! I do luv handwork! I need to get myself on of those baskets like yours set up with a project at hand all the time!
Will be posting pics of my challenge, which I finished today, and my TT progress! Will do so in the next couple of days!
It is looking great. I have a redwork book I won a while ago that I hope to try my had at sometime this summer when it warms up and is too hot for other things. Until then I'll enjoy watching your progress.
This is a detail intensive design... I'm surprised it's going so fast! LOL
Thanks for linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching :)
it's looking beautiful. Embroidery can be a slow process, but well worth it.
Cute work basket. That's a project worth finishing, anyway, however long it takes. =)
