By the time I had finished my earlier blog post today, Johnny was fast asleep with three feet in the air and not a care in the world.
I had folded up the Holiday Baskets quilt and left it sitting on the corner of my work table and was puttering around the studio, thinking about some of the things on my Wish-I-had-a-Honey-to-Do-it list and deciding what I could take on this afternoon.
Before long, I noticed Johnny had moved to the other end of the studio and was re-asserting his claim on that quilt.
Can you tell that he knew that I didn't want him there? I couldn't get him to look at me.
And he didn't budge an inch, even as I covered the table with books so that I could (finally) move the bookcases as part of my re-organization of this space.
What do you mean, you want me to move? As usual, when all else fails, he attempts to charm his way into getting whatever it is he wants. He's such a smart boy.
I felt like such a meanie when I finally lifted him off his new quilt so I could move it and use the table.

Congrats on finally moving the books!
Glad to hear you got that accomplished. He is such a pretty cat.
Aren't cats fun with quilts? My daughter's cat loves to sit behind my sewing machine and swat at the thread and the needle! I'm scared that one of these days I'm going to catch his paw with the needle :O He loves quilts too so I made him his own little quilt!
Cats are so funny! They definitely stake claims on things. Glad you got some of your organizational goals accomplished!
