Next up is an appliqué border, more vines and fried egg flowers. I started thinking about changing those snowball blocks and need to make that design decision before moving on.

Lovely quilt. You didn't ask for opinions, but I am going to give you mine anyway. I say change the snowball blocks. They look clunky next to the leaves, look like big blobs. Take it or leave it, you choice.
Can you take another opinion to 86 the snowball blocks? Probably since you're thinking of it yourself. If you don't do it now, and you're considering it, you'll probably regret it later. Other than that it's looking wonderful, and I'm not a fan of 30s.

Cute, cute, cute-I love how this is turning out.
My unrequested opinion is the same as Teresa's-the snowballs don't quite fit in.
The center medallion and the applique around it turned out completely fabulous-this is going to be the pride of the block lotto!

It is absolutely adorable!

Such a sweety pie quilt. I like it very much, but I think the snowballs could be eliminated.
No one yet has suggested *my* idea on how to fix the snowballs, but you have all confirmed the feeling that something needs to change. Thanks.
Since this quilt is based on the blocks from the Beginner Block Lotto last year, they need to stay, so I don't want to completely eliminate them.
I will add another option: How about appliquing some of those little flowers or something onto those blocks?
It's really pretty! It's going to welcome some very nice quilting!
