so many product lines these days includes a large splashy focus print for the wide outside border and this type of print just does not showcase fine hand or machine quilting well. Have you considered a solid or almost solid in place of the focus print, and perhaps a narrower band of another solid or almost solid?

I like it, that inner border really does help. If you have more, that would be nice for the binding too.

Rose, the maple leaf blocks are three inches. While I was putting them together, I wondered if I could make 1-1/2 inch blocks ;-)
