One more time - Landscapes and Thread-painted Trees.

There is a lot to love about today's quilt from the  Fiber Arts Fiesta, that took place in Albuquerque last month, Hahn's Peak Triptych by Susan Smith, Shar Short and Heather Lundquist.

To start, I loved those satin-stitched Aspen trees in the distance on this landscape quilt.

This quilt won first place in the Group Quilts category.   I would love to know more about what each of the three quilters did in this wonderful triptych of quilts.



(I wasn't able to take a square straight-on photo of many of the quilts in the show because they were so tightly packed into the exhibit space.)
